Fromme.cc Update: UPS Return Services, Import Shipments
and Domestic Delivery in Latvia — Now Fully Online

Published May 2025. This release adds full-cycle import shipments, UPS return services, domestic delivery within Latvia, and a redesigned multi-package flow. This update brings three major additions: full support for importing parcels into Latvia, UPS Returns Plus services (Print Return Label, 1 Attempt, and 3 Attempts courier pickup), and domestic UPS shipments
within Latvia.
We are continuing to actively develop Fromme.cc to make the process of arranging international shipments more predictable, simple and convenient – for both private customers and businesses. In this update, we have launched several key features and improvements that directly enhance the user experience.

UPS Returns — Online Booking for Latvia

Previously, when sending parcels from abroad to Latvia, customers could only calculate the delivery cost. From now on, import services are fully available. Customers can choose a delivery service, arrange a shipment, book a courier and, most importantly, pay online. This is particularly relevant for customers who receive goods from other countries, arrange returns within the e-commerce sector and work with overseas partners.

Real customer care: returns without the hassle


The store arranges the return itself and sends the customer a ready-made label or instructions. The customer just needs to pack the item and hand it to the courier.

  • 4 The store tracks the shipment and links it to the original order

Address, routing, and payment are all set by the store. For the customer — a simple return. For the store — a controlled process.

Warranty service

Shipped directly to the right service center, every time


Support arranges the pickup of the faulty item and sends it to the correct service center. The customer doesn't need to find a carrier or figure out addresses.

After diagnosis, the repaired or replaced item is shipped back to the customer via standard outbound delivery.

Personal shipment

Pick up a parcel from anyone — without asking them to figure it out

The recipient arranges everything: sets up the service and lets the sender know a courier is coming. The sender just needs to pack the parcel.

UPS Return Services isn't just for returns. It's a way to arrange an inbound delivery to yourself, handling all the logistics on your end.

If you'd like to arrange a return service for your customers, select it while registering a new parcel.
This isn’t always about ‘returning goods that have already been purchased’.

Essentially, it’s a service that allows the customer to arrange for a third party to send a parcel to them. For example: from a buyer to a warehouse, from a customer to a service centre, or from a partner to an office. The customer creates the shipment in advance, specifying the destination address and delivery instructions. The person on the other end receives a label or instructions. They do not need to deal with rates, addresses and paperwork themselves.

They simply hand the parcel over to a UPS courier. The customer, meanwhile, controls the route, cost, tracking and receipt. Therefore, Return Services is not just a return, but managed inbound delivery.

UPS 1 Attempt Returns: Single Courier Pickup

1 UPS Collection Attempt — single courier pickup for a return parcel
Select this option if you are confident that the scheduled parcel pickup attempt will be successful on the first try. Automatic retry pickup attempts are not scheduled.

Is a service that involves a single visit by a UPS courier to collect a return parcel. Once the return has been arranged, a UPS courier will visit the specified address and attempt to collect the parcel. If the parcel cannot be handed over to the courier at the time of the visit, no automatic repeat collection will be arranged. In this case, the courier leaves a return label, and the customer can choose how to proceed with the return themselves: the parcel can either be taken to the nearest UPS service centre, or the customer can contact UPS to arrange a separate collection. Thus, the service involves a single collection attempt, and the customer organises any further return arrangements themselves if necessary.

Important: the UPS courier will be dispatched automatically next business day (please check exact schedule with your local UPS representative). The waybill is generated internally by UPS, and no action is required from the customer. One collection attempt will be made — please be available for the scheduled pickup.

UPS 3 Attempts Returns: Three Consecutive Pickup Days

3 UPS Collection Attempts — up to three courier pickup attempts for a return
Select this option if the parcel could not be collected on the first attempt: the UPS courier will make up to three attempts.
This service allows you to arrange for a UPS courier to collect your return parcel, with three consecutive collection attempts. Once the return has been arranged, a UPS courier will visit the specified address on three consecutive working days to collect the parcel. If the parcel cannot be collected on the first visit, the courier will make further attempts on the following days.
If the parcel cannot be collected after three attempts, the return label is returned to UPS, and the customer must submit a new collection request to proceed with the return.
This service therefore provides for three consecutive collection attempts, which increases the likelihood of he return parcel being successfully collected without the need to re-register at the initial stage.

Multi-Package Shipments: Send Multiple Packages at Once

We have redesigned the logic for creating multi-package shipments. Now, when you need to send 2 or more packages with different parameters, a separate window opens for entering the details of each package, helping to avoid confusion.

If you are shipping 2 or more packages with identical parameters, a copy function is available, allowing you to apply the same details to all packages at once.

Domestic UPS Shipments Within Latvia

Fromme.cc now fully supports shipments within Latvia.

We have improved the processing logic for domestic deliveries, making it faster and better suited to local needs. The online system suggests available options and guides you through the required parameters.

General improvements that save time

We have also focused on smaller details that make the process faster: updated the page URL structure and simplified navigation, improved error messages, and added helpful tips within the forms.

The website footer has also been enhanced and now contains even more useful information. In addition, we have improved the mobile experience, making the service more convenient and user-friendly on mobile devices.
